According to the International Energy Agency, at least 20 percent of the planet's inhabitants are still without electricity. Dr Evan Mills, the founder of the Lumina Project, which promotes low-carbon alternatives to fuel-based lighting. Reflections On First Marking Period

In the first marking period of Web 2.0 I learned a lot more about blogging, and new technology in the world. For example, we had tech articles due each Friday. This taught me a lot about technology. Especially listening to other peoples tech articles. I learned more about cars, video games, blogs, phones, and even devices that'll help make the world better. Our project of the first marking period was to make a survey with a partner, and ask questions about social networks, and learned peoples dislikes and likes in social networks. Then my partner and I made a power-point presentation about a social network we would make and the features it would have. My social network was called iBook. The main purpose of our website was to let people meet other people with the same interests in books as them.

My sister came home from college on Friday, and stayed home for 2 1/2 days. I also went ice skating with my friends in Hackensack.
