Shares in a solar power company, First Solar fell over 20 percent in early trading Wednesday after the firm lowered its sales forecast for 2011. The company is a leading maker of thin-film solar panels, and also a developer of solar power projects, predicted net sales in 2011 of $2.8 to $2.9 billion. That's down from earlier projections of $3.0 to $3.3 billion. Lower sales were due to delays in its projects caused by weather and other factors. The new robust project pipeline will help First Solar generate a significant amount of money in 2012.

Yahoo has been having lottery scammers. In 2008 Yahoo arrested eight John Does for using its name and logo as a part of the scam. On Monday, a federal judge awarded Yahoo $610 million in damages from Thai and Nigerian scammers that the company was able to identify through Internet records.Yahoo's complaint reveals that between December 2006 and May 2009, more than 11.6 million fake lottery emails were sent through its email system. The judge ordered 50 dollars per scam, giving them another $583 million dollars.

Bernard Piccard is inventing a aircraft that only runs on sunlight fuel. His grandfather Auguste Piccard shared the same interest as him. What Bernard wants to build is a solar-powered aircraft to fly around the world, and to harness an unlimited form of renewable energy using technologies that won't contribute to environmental concerns. Last July his solar power airplane was the first to go in a full daylight circle. Now there still working on ways to let more passengers on the plan without causing pollution. Right now it has a 200 foot wingspan, and is 4000 pounds.
